Presley was born at Badlands Stud, bred by Kayleen Badman on the 11th January 2018 (branded 2017). Standing at 37.5in in the small horse (SH) category, Presley is a chestnut minimal pinto. Presley produced various offspring in NSW before being purchased by Altiva Park on the 21st April 2024.

Presley has developed into an amazing show horse, slowly improving in the following performance classes - showmanship, trail, hunter and lungeline. Presley will continue his performance training to include Fault n out, six bar, and show jumping. We fully intend to further his Liberty training and break him to harness and saddle.
His exceptional temperment has drawn the attention of many, having been handled by children and used as a leadline. Presley will in the future be a founding equine for our equine disability support program.

Overall, Presley was an absolute gentleman. This show was his first with us, and a test to see how he would handle showing. Thrown in the deep end before he was fully show ready, and he still competed excellently.

Presley showed beautifully, recieving amazing comments from the judges, committee and spectators on his quite nature and how much he had filled out. Presley came a long way from April to August, keeping his level headedness, willingness to please and pulling out the nicest extended trot during liberty!

Once again, Presley competed amazingly. We struggled with the performance classes, due to Presley not having the experience behind him. He still gave it his all for me and I couldnt be prouder. Presley did unfortunately go overheight for this show, due to being right at 38in, his hoof height makes that little bit too much of a
difference during measuring.

Presley was a gem, as per usual. He was prepped by my disability support client and shown in a few classes by her - which is incredible. To be in the ring, surrounded by various other horses, handled by a novice at her 2nd show and for him to not bat an eye was amazing to see. I even took a fall while running him to the ring, and Pres stood there looking at me with concern. Pres competed brilliantly, and put up a good fight for both supreme small horse and champion classic trot, having excellent comments from the judge.

Was such a wet day, everyone hiding ringside due to the wet weather. First time I've seen the causeway flood at Caboolture! Presley was on his best behaviour as per usual, but was a very tired boy today. Still so willing, but knowing him I could see how tired he really was. (His girlfriend went to get preg scanned and he apparently ran around working himself up the whole time.....)

First show back for the year and boy was it a hot one but couldn't be happier with how Presley behaved. Such a gentleman to handle, and to take 5th in Pinto best presented, being such a huge class, I was happy with that!

WOW! What an epic show. Travelling down to Tamworth to compete with the best in Australian miniature horse showing and breeding. We pulled out some FANTASTIC results, taking out not only Adult handler but adult showmanship aswell. Presley, the most amazing gentleman, so willing to do whatever he needs to for me.
We did unfortunately DQ in Trail, but i am SO proud of Pres! He did an absolutely perfect straddle after only starting to learn it 2 weeks ago! And the DQ was user error, not Presleys fault at all. I also sabotaged Pres in the Hunter. Was a mess and kept cutting his lines short. He still jumped every single one, only knocking one despite my lapse in handling. Just goes to show how not everyone has a good day, even someone whose been showing for a few years! Practice makes progess, not perfection and despite the losses, I cannot be PROUDER of how my boy performed. He was brilliant and I will continue to practice to hopefully compete better at the next Nationals I attend!

First time at Kalbar Ag and what a great show! Ended up being needed in both rings at once but they held up for me which was lovely! Pres and I had some one on one time and he just continues to prove how quite he is. Horse galloping around loose, other horses losing their minds and he's completely unphased, eating grass in the middle of it all!

A very successful show, with Presley on his best behaviour as usual. Presley truly tries his heart out for me but was incredibly tired as im sure you can see from this picture after winning such a big ribbon! Must be too heavy!

Presley did so good and tried some new things today! He did have an incident with a jump attempting 6 Bar, but thankfully he is ok! It definitely scared me when the steel got caught in his stifle, so we did one last jump and called it a day. It is important to end on a good note for not only the horses mind but your own. Not that it did me too much good.

This wonderfully run show was such a great atmosphere. Presley did such a great job, however I decided that spraining my ankle half way through hunter was a great idea, and Presley was being a spunk - hunter isnt about spunk is it Presley haha. But the important thing is we had an absolute ball!

Its days like this that I am reminded very dramatically that Presley is a stallion. He decided that this show was his time to show everyone how much of a big mean stallion he was (not mean whatsoever haha). Pres was spooky and unwilling on the trail, super spicy in the hunter and then all of a sudden we tried jumping. After the last fiasco at rosewood I was concerned. Presley though? Loved every single second of it!! Perhaps jumping is his fortay!

Pres and I spent the morning at GC competing in the breed rings and headed down to the sand for Presleys first look at the ocean! He was so concerned with why the water was moving, but then got distracted by his fan club! He even gave a young girl a quick ride, being on his absolute best behaviour. Then the afternoon was spent stewarding for the Equestrians with disabilities classes!

Words cannot describe how awesome Presley did today. He was run around from ring to ring for an hour and a half straight with very little breaks - occasionally. Despite a handful of "Moments" - continued to prove why his temperament is second to none. Lets just say, he gets so excited when he does performance that he just needs to leap for joy! Presleys First Supreme Title!
